Intensive Sushi Training Course

      Intensive Sushi Training Course and Salmon Filleting Course provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to become a Sushi chef. These courses are therefore suitable for chefs, sushi chefs, entrepreneurs opening new restaurants and individuals who are truly interested in Japanese food.

      The courses focus on both theory and practical. Sushi making is an art. In the past to become professional sushi chefs, an experience of approximately 6 to 8 years is the average before chefs are able to make beautiful and delicious sushi. This is because making sushi is more than just methods and recipes. It requires skills for instance the art of fish filleting, the art of rice cooking or even the art of plating. The chef also needs to have speed and elegance in his/her movements.

      Thus, students are taught all the basics such as the selection of seasonings, the maintenance of sushi knives and other equipments and rice cooking. Indefinitely you will also learn basic sushi making and the art of fusion sushi. Fusion sushi is the creations of new kinds of sushi. Students will of course get to practice all the steps themselves.

      Rice is the heart of sushi making. Students will learn from how to wash the rice, cook to how to make the sushi rice vinegar.
